A Celebration of Life!

A dedicated community leader and a beloved man.

William L. Mallary, Sr., was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 4, 1931 to William Henry Mallory and Drusilla Mallory. He became a follower of Christ early in his life and remained spiritually connected with the Lord throughout his life. He was a long-time, active member of York Street United Methodist Church until his passing. He was a gentle man, committed to the betterment of the lives of people in Cincinnati.
Mr. Mallory, Sr. completed his life’s journey December 10, 2013 with his family surrounding him. He is survived by his wife, Fannie, daughter Denise Mallary, sons Dwane Mallory, William Mallory, lr., Dale Mallory, Joe Mallory and Mark Mallory; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Drusilla Mallory and Gloria Scott (Willie). He is also survived by 4 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Virgie Fause and his brother John Wesley Mallory.
The Mallory Family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible outpouring of support with the loss of our beloved William L. Mallory, Sr. We are humbled by the emails, calls and letters received throughout the community.
A man of principle and integrity, we hope that William L. Mallory Sr.’s life and legacy will continue to serve as an inspiration of excellence in the community and especially to students. A scholarship at the University of Cincinnati has been established in his honor in an effort to continue to provide educational opportunities to academically talented students.
